Fall Recipes With A Hint of CBD

TANGY CHILI
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp paprika
1 c dry red wine
5 c cooked lentils
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp ancho chili powder
¼ c chopped fresh parsley
1 package gluten-free noodles
3 c canned chopped tomatoes (no salt added)
2 droppers millie Tropical Orange CBD Herbal Supplement (about 16 MG per serving for 4)

First, cook the dried lentils. Next mix the lentils with all ingredients in a large soup pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for one hour. While the above is cooking, boil and drain the noodles and set aside. Next add the noodles and parsley into the chili and cook for about 5 minutes. Just before serving, remove the chili from the stovetop and mix in the CBD thoroughly, as you do not want to heat up the CBD so it maintains all of the beneficial properties. Garnish with your favorite cheddar or dairy-free cheese and fresh parsley!


GLUTEN-FREE VEGAN CARROT CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
½ tsp salt 
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ c maple syrup
2 c grated carrots
3 c gluten-free flour
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/3 c coconut oil (melted)
1 c unsweetened applesauce
½ c brown or coconut sugar
3 tbsp ground flaxseed + 7 tbsp water 

Mix the flax seed and water then set aside. Set the oven to 350. Mix the dry ingredients together and set aside. Add the flax “egg” to the remaining wet ingredients, sugar, and carrots, and slowly add in the dry ingredients. Grease and flour either a 9x9 pan or a 9x13 (depending on how thick you’d like the pieces) and spoon in the batter. Bake for about 40-50 minutes depending on your oven and pan type (glass vs. metal etc.). Check if the cake is done by piercing it with a knife to see if it comes out clean. Let cool and mix the frosting ingredients below. Frost the cake and cut into bar shapes. 

FROSTING
4 c powdered sugar 
1 tsp almond extract 
½ c softened dairy-free butter
8 oz container  dairy-free cream cheese
2 droppers millie Tropical Orange CBD Herbal Supplement (about 16 MG per serving for 4)


PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE
2 tsp honey
1 c hot coffee
1/4 c milk of choice
1 tbsp canned pumpkin 
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 dropper millie Tropical Orange CBD Herbal Supplement (about 16 MG per serving)

Add all ingredients to a blender and enjoy!
