Healthy Bites To Jump Start The New Year

NUT & SEED TRAIL MIX

½ tsp salt
1 c pecans
1 c cashews
1 c almonds
½ c maple syrup
½ c sunflower seeds

Mix the above and spread on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.

1 tsp cinnamon
2 1/2 droppers millie Tropical Orange CBD Herbal Supplement 1000 MG (10 MG per serving)

Remove from the oven. Mix the CBD and cinnamon and toss with the roasted mix. Set aside to cool, and store in the refrigerator, for a grab and go trail mix!



PROTEIN TRUFFLES

2 ½ tsp honey
3 tbsp rice flour
1 can black beans
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 ½ tbsp coconut oil
2 ½ droppers millie Cool Mint CBD Tincture 1000 MG (10 MG per serving)

Drain and rinse beans. Blend in a food processor with all of the above below. Place the mixture in the freezer for about a ½ hour to firm up a bit. You can add more rice flour if necessary. Once chilled, form the dough into balls and place on a plate or pan lined with wax paper. Make sure they aren’t touching and place in the freezer once again for another 30 minutes.

1 package (16 oz) chocolate

Just before the time is up, melt the chocolate in the microwave or stovetop. Add a tablespoon of canola or coconut oil to the chocolate and mix well. When dipping the heart truffles into the chocolate, you can use a toothpick to pull them out of the chocolate and set on the wax paper to dry and harden. You can stick them in the refrigerator to speed up the process. The recipe makes about 8 servings.



SUNNY APPLE GRANOLA BARS

1 c oat flour
½ c sliced almonds
½ c sunflower seeds
½ tsp coconut oil melted to grease the pan

Spread the above on a baking sheet and toast for 10-15 minutes at 350.

½ c dried apples
3 tbsp water
2tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp honey 
Mix the above together and let sit for 10 minutes. 

¼ c agave
1 tbsp coconut oil
¼ c sunflower butter 
Cook the above in a saucepan until melted. Remove from the heat and mix in the CBD oil.

Add all three portions together and press into a rectangular baking dish lined with wax paper. Bake at 180 for 30 minutes. Cut into squares, store in a container in the fridge, or wrap in wax paper for an on the go treat! The recipe makes about 8 servings.
